My name is Josh. I like sketching anything that looks cool to me, especially shoes. I really enjoyed this project because I got to paint a shoe I really really like. This project was very enjoyable to do and it was the coolest assignment we have done this year in my opinion. Below are the steps on what I did to make my painting and past sketches I have drawn.
This is the sketch that inspired my painting. It is a Jordan 1 Chicago.
First I cut my wood into four pieces then I glued them together.
Then I stapled the canvas to the wood and put water on the back of it to tighten it.
Then I started with making my imprimatura which is like a sketch of your painting to guide you when you start painting.
Then I started painting.
This is my final painting.
This another shoe I drew. It is an Air Max 95 Persian Violet and I drew it because I have this shoe.
