Artist Statement

One day I went to an art camp and I saw this kid drawing these weird cartoons and it looked really cool so I went over to him and asked him what he was drawing. He said it was called anime. So I tried drawing it myself and I ended up enjoying it so I started drawing more anime and as you can see I have an animated gif of an anime eye. To the right of that is the first ever drawing of Super Saiyan Blue Goku from Dragon Ball Super.

First I had to cut the wood and make the frame using this saw.

Next I glued the frames together and held them together using a web clamp.

After that I put the canvas on I started the impriamatura.

Finally I finished the painting. One eye is brown where as the other eye is a mixture of colors because he's half- human half- Saiyan.
