Grant Verstegen’s Artwork

My name is Grant Verstegen. I enjoy drawing city scapes and City Skylines. My drawings are very simple and don’t take a lot of time. My simple drawings inspired me to do a painting of a city scape. I make my buildings look unique and different like in a real city.

My Oil Painting Process:

Step 1. Cutting the wood/frame

Step 2. Gluing the wood/frame

Step 3. Streching the canvas and stapling it to the wood/frame. After it is stapled you pour water on it to tighten it for painting.

Step 4. Drawing your impimatura on your canvas.

Step 5. Start painting.

Step 6. The final painting.
